Why we LOVE wheatgrass!

Chlorophyll found in wheatgrass (nature’s green healer) is AMAZING! It produces an unfavorable environment for bacterial growth in the body and helps to effectively eliminate toxins, purifying the liver while building a clean bloodstream, aiding in proper digestion and helping to balance blood sugar.

Wheatgrass is also known to be one of nature’s richest sources of Vitamin A, C and E. It contains all the known mineral elements. Rich in Calcium, phosphorous, iron, potassium, sulphur, sodium, cobalt and zinc this super-duper food has just about everything you need. A recent study also showed that the grasses are exceptionally high in B Vitamins, especially vitamin B-17 (laetrile).

My first experience with wheatgrass was here in Ireland with Peter (owner of Harvest Moon). I was suffering from some anxiety and tension. He suggested I try a shot of wheatgrass first thing in the morning to balance my PH level and ease the anxiety. I had a meeting in the morning and I remember having my one ounce shot followed by a pint glass of water, which I have every morning, and ran out the door. When I arrived at the meeting it was if I were floating. My whole body was thanking me, the anxiety was lifted, I had felt a calm that I hadn’t ever experienced. I was actually experiencing what felt like each cell of my blood stream breathing, my whole body breathing.

Important  Tips to Remember: 1.start with a small shot, this is powerful stuff and pushes toxins out quickly, You may feel a lttle nauseous the first few times.
2. Wheatgrass, once juiced, should be consumed within 15 to 20  minutes to be most effective.
3. Frozen wheatgrass is less effective than freshly pressed but the grass itself unpressed can last a week in your fridge.
